However, Perry’s purchase was met with a legal dispute from restaurateur Dana Hollister, who had made a deal with the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to purchase the property. After a lengthy lawsuit, Perry emerged victorious. Hollister was to pay a hefty $6.5 million in damages.
